I tried to put the key he had given me at the hospital into the keyhole and only after a few futile attempts did I hear the click for the door to open. As the door slowly moaned open without giving me any warning, my eyes grew wider when I got full view of my brother’s room.
The room was a dungeon and the undrawn curtains left the room blanketed in darkness. I attempted to switch on the lights to see better. The lights came on but flickered spasmodically and let out a funny whuzzing and whirring sound every now and then. Looking up, I saw that the ceiling was encrusted in dust that had turned black over time. Likewise the flickering lights had the same coating of digusting dust circling the tube.
